Mixtape: MaJor Lazer & La Roux present: Lazerproof.

The homie LA sent me the link to this mixtape a few weeks back when I was searching for the name of the song that played the credits of the Episode of Entourage when Vince OD'ed (sorry if thats a spoiler. whoops). Duh, everyone loves La Roux because of "BulletProof" and for all your Reggae fiends out there (DC Meg, K. Beau) Major Lazer delivers. I listen to "Independent Kill" "I 4 the Kill Pon De Skream" and " I Said It" every damn day. for sure.

Download it here.

Concerts: fall/winter 2010

The concert-going bug of the summer has not died with the school year starting. I swear, hands down one of the best things about New York are the shows, and the events.... Just another tally mark in the "yes-I'm-absolutely-staying-here-after-I-graduate" column.

So far on the calender:

He's taping for his upcoming HBO special, and the Apollo which is like.... right in my neighborhood. Treat!

I fell in LOVE with Lissie when i heard her covers of "pursuit of Happiness" and "Bad Romance" so I was so so excited to see that she was coming to New York!

YUP. Ya DAMN right. I got these tickets the minute the went on sale.

Super excited about La Roux.... their mix tape with Major Lazer has been on constant repeat.

I'm also trying to see Wicked, Rent, and possibly Dave Matthews (again)..... we'll see.

Mixtape Freak.

It's no secret I'm a low-key music freak, I love the radio shit, local shit, underground, weird, freakin, old shit....I like a lot of music. Stumbled across these two mixtapes and had to post. Rick Ross (the Boss) and TI put them out, and both have albums coming out later on this summer/year. More on both mixtapes and downloads can be found over here at rap-up.com

New Music: Dr.'s Orders.

I couldn't be happier. Baby Bro, KO Kid's Mixtape is available NOW for *free* download! I mean, this shit is fire, and that's not even swayed by my familial ties!

So, download this ish. I wanna know what ya'll think!

Wiz Khalifa's much anticipated mixtape is finally out. Wiz is super talented, freshman rapper--- yall, if you're not up on him yet, download Kush and OJ, roll one up (if you're 4/20 friendly... and if not, you can pretend. With tracks like "Waken Baken, Wiz goes in hard enough for all of us), and Enjoy.
