He's back. KO kid has dropped a new track called, Momma's Boy. If you're familiar with Chromeo, you'll recognize the track. This is off of KO's upcoming mixtape, entitled Chromeostasis, which will feature additional tracks that are Chromeo mashups. On a personal note, it was wonderful to see him FINALLY perform live.... Super dope concert.
He works with Paul (Ladro) and Taylor, as well as his DJ, Simms and a drummer, Reed Benjamin who all vibed so well together. Anyways.... check out the kid on twitter and facebook and all the other social media.... just google that KOKidNC.

7/14/2010: Chiddy Bang Concert.

Tonight I'm going to Brooklyn for a Chiddy Bang Concert. K. Beau has quickly established herself as my concert-mate of the summer, we've been to Alice Smith, Kooley High, Curren$y (twice) and now Chiddy Bang. There are some other dope shows coming up that I can't wait for.

Oh, and.... KO Kid is opening for Chiddy Bang in NC in August, so you know, I can't help myself. haha. Hopefully more pictures from the show!

But, If I can't make it, I'm gonna need some representatives to report back (or, ehem, live feed the entire show, like many of you did for me during his May 16th performance. haha)

Y'all. I am the proudest sister ever. My brother Kenneth has had two shows and has excellent turn out. Now, he already told me that he was working on his first mix tape (Don't we *love* the title?)  But,  Yesterday he called to tell me so freakin awesome news:

That's Right. K.O Kid is the 2nd act! (Randomly I also know the other two performers very well--- townies).
