Easter Sunday Festivities.

Easter Sunday was spent at my darling friend, K. Beau's house. After a night out we all made our way back to her house and went to bed at 6am. Easter Breakfast was at 1pm and consisted of Domino's pizza & bread sticks... and of course, bacon. We watched Blue Crush and the majority of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Season 1.

K.Beau got this awesome Shiny egg dying kit from the drug store so we gave it a try. (by "we" I mean me, K. Beau and Tommy gave about 50% effort.... Morgs and her friend Whitney were less that interested, hahaha) The blue egg at the bottom was my final product. What do you think??

The day ended with wonderful Sushi dinner wit K. Beau and Tommy. Wonderful Easter, indeed.

More Sunday Craft pictures to come!

Artist of the Moment: K.O Kid.

Duh. I'm biased.

Y'all. I am the proudest sister ever. My brother Kenneth has had two shows and has excellent turn out. Now, he already told me that he was working on his first mix tape (Don't we *love* the title?)  But,  Yesterday he called to tell me so freakin awesome news:

But It wasn't real til I saw it here

That's Right. K.O Kid is the 2nd act! (Randomly I also know the other two performers very well--- townies).

Unfortunately, I can't go to this show... It's a Thursday night and I can't swing it. But... if you haven't yet go check out this lil talent!

Album Art: Taylor Kinahan

Wiz Khalifa Concert, 3/26/10.

I love Wiz Khalifa. He's a rapper in the same category as Kid Cudi, Wale, Curren$y, and some other hot, more under ground wonders.
The concert was amazing, and the Venue (Fillmore--17 Irving Plaza) was like a mix 'between Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill and an opera house.
If you don't know Wiz Kalifa, check him out, this is one of my favorite songs.

Some other shows coming up there that I'm ticket shopping for:

Wale-- 3/31
Bone Thugs-- 4/6
Lupe Fiasco-- 4/10 & 4/11
Snoop-- 4/20
N.E.R.D-- 4/28

Tip for Glasses Wearers.

My good friend Tony, (aka Tone-Town, Tony-Bologna, Tones) is a fellow glasses wearer. I spotted him strolling into one of our classes last semester doing the sunglasses-over-the-glasses thing. At first I thought that was only for old people who wear those glaucoma or cataracts blacked out frames over theirs. But hey, I'm no hater. So since I am an 80%-20% glasses-to-contact wearer I thought I could give it a try...
I got new big shade over spring break, and indeed they are big enough to go around my glasses frames. Not gonna lie, Tone-Town, I like your style, darling!

Quote of The Day.

This one is tacked to the wall by my desk. So true stuff right there, Rev!

Minimalist Movie Posters.

Jackie over at The 20 Something Society posted these gems earlier in the month and I had to share them as well. I have always loved how people keep re-creating these. I really liked the ones by Albert Exergian, and Nick Tassone (who did these) did a pretty nice job. It helps that I love horror flicks and 'The Shining' in one of my favorite movies. ever.
